One in three people, coronavirus in Bangladesh is now tested positive.
According to the latest bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Department of Health, the number of coronavirus samples tested in the last 24 hours has risen to 32.55%.
From 8 am on July 23 to 8 am on July 24, 20,628 samples were tested in 24 hours.
Coronavirus was detected in 6,060 people in these samples.
On the other hand, 195 people have died in the last 24 hours.
Of those killed, 103 were men and 92 were women. All but five of them died at the hospital.
A total of 19,046 people have died in Covid-19 so far in the country.
About 80% of the dead are over 51 years of age. The death toll in Dhaka has been the highest in the last few weeks.
In the last 24 hours, a maximum of 6 people has died in the Dhaka division. As a percentage which is 46.14%. It is followed by Khulna, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Mymensingh divisions.
According to the Department of Health, coronavirus has been identified in a total of 11 lakh, 53 thousand 344 people.
According to the Department of Health, 9,335 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and a total of 9,41,343 people have recovered.
The first coronavirus was reported in Bangladesh on March 7 last year.
